computer doesn’t see my usb dvd cdrw burner?

I have a windows xp sys. and it will not read my liteon dvd cdrw burner it have always read it before without a problem. I have also just restored my system but i have never had this problem before any one know what could be wrong with it or how to fix please let me know thank you

try to mount a flash drive on that port. if it worked, that has something to do with your cable. mount it again and try to detect it using windows hardware wizard. you may need the dvd combo driver for this. restart pc if needed.

How long will my laptop battery lasts between charges?
