Does instalation of Windows XP in a desktop with SATA HDD require SATA hard disk driver integrated Win Xp cd?

To install windows xp in laptop with SATA hard disk, the sata hard disk driver need to be included in the win xp cd with the help of softwares like “n-lite”. Does installation of win xp in desktop with sata hdd requires the same??

More likely than not yes, especially if the SATA card is an add-on.
