In addition, the lifespan of a computer system is generally 3-5 years. By the time your whole computer system is spoilt, it is also time to get a new one because all your computer parts will be obsolete by then.

Is building your own computer as easy as people say?
I want to have a PC that is good for gaming and my current computer I have is junk. I heard that building your own PC is a lot cheaper and easier than it sounds. Is it true? How do you go about building a PC? What are some good component vendors?
Having built my own computer before, I would advise against it unless you have spare money to burn. Its not to hard to do and a lot of fun, but it is significantly more expensive that buying one that is already built. Also, chances are the lifespan of a home built computer will be a lot less than a prebuilt one, unless you keep putting new parts into it. This is because you are buying parts from many different companies, and there is simply no way that all those companies can make their hardware perform perfectly with every brand of hardware out there. An advantage of building a comp yourself is that for a price you can build something that is many times faster than most computers available from retailers.
I would recommend newegg.com to buy parts. That’s where I got the parts for mine, and IMO they are the cheapest and most reputable site for custom building computers. They’ve got every part from every brand out there, and plenty of legit customer reviews.
